Public Safety & Seniors
I have created transformative initiatives to strengthen public safety, honor veterans, and improve emergency response for the City of Las Vegas. Through my Senior Safety Initiative, I equipped Ward 4 seniors with a Knox Box, giving first responders secure home access during emergencies while protecting property and saving lives. I was also instrumental in bringing the Nevada State Veterans Memorial to the Thunderbird Family Sports Complex, creating a powerful and enduring gathering space where veterans and their families can honor service and sacrifice year-round.
My leadership helped establish the Northwest Metro Substation, a strategically located, state-of-the-art facility that enhances response times, increases community policing, and ensures residents feel supported. In addition, I advanced the development of the Red Rocks Communication Center, a cutting-edge collaboration between Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, the Metropolitan Police Department, and Clark County. This center streamlines coordination across the valley, ensures uninterrupted operations in emergencies, and ultimately strengthens public safety for the entire region.
Together, these achievements reflect my unwavering commitment to protecting residents, honoring heroes, and building a safer, stronger Las Vegas.
Thank you for stopping by to learn more about me and my re-election for Las Vegas City Council. You’re eager to make a difference and I love that community spirit! I am a mom to two school-aged kids. our third adult kid is a nurse and just had a baby, which makes me a new Grandma! My husband Steve is a Las Vegas Fire Captain for the City of Las Vegas, his dedication to helping others makes me so proud. I own a Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop where I weather the ups and downs of our economy and the decisions of our government.
